About Us

CTL was established in 1993 as an independent work based learning provider for the Early Years sector and was awarded CoVE status in 2005.

We currently train over 300 apprentices per year at both levels 2 and 3.

Located in the heart of Reading, our premises in Station Road have been completely refurbished to offer first class training accommodation which is easily
accessible to all.

In addition to traditional apprenticeship courses, we also offer a professional development programme and sector days for Early Years professionals at all levels.

We are currently working in partnership with Thames Valley University to offer school students between the ages of 14 and 19 the opportunity to study for the BTEC certificate in Early Years as part of the school curriculum.

We offer free babysitting courses to Berkshire schools. We also offer assessor and mentor training to more experienced Childcare workers.
